Brother HL-2040 Monochrome Laser Printer

If you’re on a tight budget and can’t spend much, this particular model will meet your needs. Lexmark C532dn Color Laser Printer

Lexmark’s C532dn prints at 22 pages per minute color and 24 pages per minute in black and white at 2400×600 dpi and can deliver the first color page in 11 seconds. Print quality and print speed are the major features of this color laser printer. It does have an integrated duplexing feature it is network ready and has a very strong duty cycle of 75,000 prints. This particular model even has an Eco-Mode that will allow you to cut down on power consumption. This is a fine color laser printer choice but it is very pricey. If you can find it at a good price, buy it.

Xerox Phaser 6110B Color Laser Printer

This is a bargain color laser printer so be prepared. You won’t be get the features such as print speed (17 pages per minute black and white and 4 pages per minute in color), duplexing or a long duty cycle (24,200 pages per month) that you will see on higher priced models. The Xerox Phaser 6110B does, however, have 2400×600 print quality, optional networking, and some advanced print features such as watermarking. This is not the printer that you would want to introduce to a busy office but it’s a fine choice for the small office or home.

HP Photosmart 1115 Printer

If you are looking for a printer to print your digital camera pictures then the HP PhotoSmart 1115 color inkjet printer is a great printer for you. The HP PhotoSmart 1115 lets you print directly from your digital camera by way of the CompactFlash or SmartMedia memory card slots located on the printer. You don’t even need a computer to do the printing. This is a very compact printer in size, it is durable, quiet, easy to use, and the software enables you to have so many printing options. Priced at only around $200 this is a good buy, though the printing may be a tad slow. The quality of your prints and the low price tag will more than make up for the slow speed. However, like many printers, the ink can be expensive.
